The Avast Online Safety Score and Network Inspector features enhances digital security capabilities for Mac and iOS for those at home or traveling.
We’ve widened the cross-platform capabilities available in Avast, our award-winning all-in-one digital security solution, with features such as an Online Safety Score feature for both Mac and iOS. It was previously known for Windows and Android. The online Safety Score helps people take control of their online security by providing a straightforward, easily read a score, with frequent feedback and suggestions for improving it even more. Network Inspector, previously called Wi-Fi Inspector within Avast Free Antivirus, has also been added to Mac to ensure that devices and networks can be scanned for weaknesses.
These updates result from Avast key as a top-quality product in the industry, and it has earned all points for malware protection, performance, and usability.
In the past year, we released our Digital Citizenship report of more than 16,000 users. We observed that despite the growing importance of the web, the increasing importance of online security and privacy issues prevent individuals from fully participating in online activity. To address this issue, we’ve increased the security features available through Avast One across all platforms to give our online users more control and security in growing online frauds, fraud, and other criminal activity.
This year, we upgraded the premium and free versions of Avast One with some important security and privacy features across every central platform, including Email Guardian and Private Mode, Scam Protection for mobile devices, and a Smart VPN that launches automatically to protect online banking.
With this update, we’ve bolstered our cross-platform support by introducing Online Safety Score and Network Inspector. Both give users more guidance and control over safety online to give them more peace of mind regardless of the device used. Premium customers can benefit from Avast One’s maximum protection and performance capabilities on up to 30 devices and phones that run on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS, ensuring their devices and families remain safe and secure.

Network Inspector Automatically examines connected devices and networks for weaknesses and gives suggestions to enhance the security of your device and network to stop hackers from accessing them and getting personal information. It is available as Avast One Essential, Individual, and Family versions for Mac and Windows platforms.
App Lock locks sensitive applications and photos using a PIN, pattern, or fingerprint that differs from the authentication that unlocks phones and provides the user with additional security. It’s available in Avast One Individual and Family for Android. Families or individuals with iOS devices The Photo Vault feature secures photos within an encrypted folder in Avast One. Images are stored in an encrypted folder inside Avast One app. It is protected by a PINor Finger ID or Face ID to enhance security for shared mobile devices.
