How to Fix Network error on Twitch

Also, suppose you’re using add-ons for blocking ads or security and privacy extensions such as Ghostery (many Twitch users reported that Ghostery might cause this error). In that case, consider deactivating these add-ons and attachments in your browser.

To deactivate extensions on Chrome:

1. Start Chrome, and then go to the menu > Tools and Extensions.

2. Switch off the toggle beside the ad blockers and extensions to stop them.

To deactivate add-ons in Firefox:

1. Open Firefox and go to Menu > Add-ons.

2. The toggle should be turned off on the right side of those ad blockers or extensions to stop them.

To deactivate extensions from Edge:

1. Launch Edge and go to Menu > Extensions.

2. Switch off the switch on the right side of those ad-blockers and extensions to turn them off.

Solution 4: Clear browser cache and cookies

Cookies and browser caches can be the reason which causes the Twitch 2000 network error. A few Twitch users have reported that they solved the issue by clearing the browser the cache and cookies. If you’ve failed to remove browser cache or cookies for quite a while, try this solution.

To remove cache and cookies from Chrome:

1. Open Chrome and go to Menu > Settings.

2. Click Privacy and Security on the left-hand side and then hit Clean browsing information.

3. Make sure you check the boxes next to Cookies and other data from the site, as well as Cached files and images. Click to clear data.

To delete the cache and cookies to clear the cache and cookies, Firefox:

1. Launch Firefox and go to Menu > Options.
