How I Improved My Display Boxes In One Easy Lesson

When I first started selling my products online, I was so excited to have a way to reach potential customers finally. But then I started noticing that my display boxes were not as appealing as they could be. They didn’t have the right look or feel and felt old-fashioned.

I also noticed that my customers weren’t excited about buying them anymore. They’re just not going to pay for something that looks like it came from the 1990s and has a lot of monotony on it. So what to do to shake things up? You go back to the drawing board and figure out how to make your product stand out from the rest.

Change of color for Display Boxes.

You can use color for a lot of things in display containers. It’s among the most effective ways to draw attention, and it’s especially useful when you want to highlight important information. 

If you desire your crowd to pay attention to something, color is your best bet. And if they don’t notice that something is there, highlight it to make things better. 

I changed the color of my custom display boxes in one easy lesson. I was inspired by a post on Instagram and wanted to try making a color change. I bought some acrylic paint and went to work. The results were great. 

I used two different colored paint—one for the background and the other for the front of the box. I mixed them and spread them across my chest with an old toothbrush. It took some time, but it worked out well. 

It might seem overkill at first glance. But think about how often we’ve been drawn into buying something because we saw it featured prominently on social media. Or maybe even just because someone told us about it. 

We don’t necessarily need an entire display board made up exclusively of those colors. Instead, pick out those few key items which will make their point loud and clear. 

Addition of images.

I’m a big fan of adding images to my cardboard display boxes. It’s easy to give your audience a visual representation of what they’re purchasing. And it helps them better understand what they’re getting.

Images are a great method to increase aesthetic appeal and help you sell your product. You can use images to help showcase the features of your cardboard displays. 

Make your packaging look joyous.

Regarding a cardboard display, you want to make your product look as beautiful as possible. With that in mind, I’d like to share my process for making my products look joyful. 

First, I start by drawing out my design on paper. Then, I take that drawing and print it using an inkjet printer on a specific type of paper. The goal is to ensure that the inkjet printout is easily visible but not too dark or too light.

After printing my design, I’ll cut out all pieces using scissors or Exacto knives. This allows me to see how much space I have between every panel when assembling my jewelry display boxes.

Once the pieces are cut out and ready for assembly, it’s time to put them together. First, I need to find some frame for each panel so they can be hung up easily without falling over onto themselves or each other. Then, once all of that is done, I glue everything together. 

Use a logo or image to make the packaging stand out. Also, you can use a color that stands out from other products in the same category. Like red for Valentine’s day, blue for summertime, and green for Christmas.

If you’re printing on paper, choose a font that is easy to read. Like Helvetica or Arial. So people can quickly scan and buy your product without having trouble reading it.  You’ll also want to add discount codes or barcodes so they can save time AND money when they shop at check-out!

Utilize your Display boxes in a novel way.

The essential thing you can do to optimize your wall display box is to use it in novel ways.

It is 2022, and you simply cannot sell your products by using the same old techniques. There has to be some novelty and creativity if you want to make an impact with your countertop display. We all know that there is no limit when it comes to creativity, and you can be as innovative as you want. This is exactly what I did, and my sales skyrocketed. 

Coordination of the text and background.

Text and background should be in harmony. The text should be easy to read, especially small or medium. 

Background images should be consistent with the theme of your product. They don’t need to match exactly, but they should complement each other in terms of color and texture.

For example, if you’re selling an item made out of wood, you might want an image with a similar appearance. If there isn’t enough space for text and images, consider using just one. 

If you’re using multiple images on top of each other as I do, then make sure they aren’t too close together. So that people can still see them clearly when scrolling down their screens at different angles.
