Business models, as well as people and their qualities, can be very varied. This happens in the world of entrepreneurship and, above all, in countries like Nicaragua, where there are many people willing to try to start various projects that have an impact on society. Due to this, it is not possible to classify exactly the types of entrepreneurship that exist, but we will present some of the most common and that may be interesting if you are interested in the subject. Remember that the most important thing in this case is the motive and the objectives that you have set for yourself, to become an entrepreneur.

1. Social entrepreneurship: These are those businesses or movements that focus on offering services or products, depending on the business model, with the aim of solving social, environmental or cultural problems. Generally, these ventures are linked to non-profit organizations or with special emphasis on carrying out activities with a social sense. In most cases, you can see people committed to social change and developing partnerships with existing companies or institutions that want to transform the injustices that are experienced in society.

Social entrepreneurship is the opposite of commercial , which is based on generating profits from the sale of products and services. This type works many times, from the collection of funds in the form of a donation, since its ultimate objective is not to make a profit for something specific, but to raise awareness in society and work to implement cultural changes that are beneficial to people. Currently it is very common to find companies dedicated to environmental issues, for example, against the felling of trees, the construction of companies or against mining.

2. Entrepreneurial entrepreneurship: this type is presented as an alternative to a microenterprise, since it is the creation of an institution or company that is dedicated to producing for economic benefits. In this case, it is about starting from scratch an idea conceived by one or more people and entering the economic-labor world, with the aim of achieving economic, labor and personal stability. Therefore, the business entrepreneur must adhere to certain rules that the system manages, but with the ease of making decisions based on their particular interest and the benefits obtained from it.

On the other hand, it is important to be clear that it is, to a certain extent, the opposite side of social entrepreneurship, since, in this case, in business, it focuses on satisfying material or market needs, to generate profits for the members of the same. Thus, business entrepreneurship promotes the competition of products and services and is one of the most used by young Nicaraguans, since they are willing to create companies from scratch, but with the aim of having independence, stability and, thus, building their future from of this type of project.

3. Cultural entrepreneurship. It is base on enhancing the artistic part of a business model that will be create. It is based on creating institutions related to the theme of culture, plastic arts and everything focused on the cultural space that is of interest to promote. It is not very common to find this type of venture, but it is very important and has a lot of potential in countries like Nicaragua, where other organizations invest a lot in cultural projects and where an entrepreneur can find windows of improvement for his business and the subject in general.

It is important to keep in mind that this type of venture is focus, like the social one, on rescuing the issue and trying to project it in a better way. That is their raison d’être, to promote or improve the issue of culture in the countries or society where they depend and where they want to make efforts.

4. Technological entrepreneurship. This is one of the most enhanced in recent years. This is due to the boom in this topic and it is for this reason that many young people have decided to start ventures in this sector. Usually, it focuses on creating new products and offering services to the population, since the objective is to patent different projects that satisfy needs. On the other hand, this type of market has become highly valued, since the dynamic is to seek sponsorships, for the creation of projects, something that allows entrepreneurs to project themselves and make prototypes, with the aim of improving and strengthening their proposals.

Technological entrepreneurship is a very wide field of possibilities and although it is one of the most demanding in terms of time and effort, it is one of those that offers the best results and opportunities for those who decide to embark on this adventure.  Entrepreneurship is a viable option for many people who want to take a risk and bet on better working conditions or simply start a change in society. If you are a person with a lot of motivation and determined to contribute a grain of sand in this sector, you should investigate and start the project that best suits your interests, needs and dreams.
