Pinocchio (2022)

Do you consider yourself familiar with the Pinocchio tale? If you’ve seen the Disney cartoon from 1940, you probably do. With this live-action adaptation, Robert Zemeckis isn’t trying to do anything particularly groundbreaking. But Zemeckis has given Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth), the puppet who came to life at Geppetto’s wish, a few new twists (Tom Hanks). Since Pinocchio isn’t human, his conscience is played by Joseph Gordon-Jiminy Levitt’s Cricket. Because Pinocchio can never seem to stay out of mischief for long, Jimmy has his work cut out for him.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938)

When Disney released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, it was the first full-length animated feature film. Snow White, the most stunning lady in the kingdom, is voiced by Adriana Caselotti. Snow White’s evil stepmother is not happy about that revelation (Lucille La Verne). The Evil Queen will not rest until she has killed Snow White and restored her status as the fairest person in the land. The seven Dwarfs, led by Doc (Roy Atwell), are a safe haven for Snow White. The villagers will do anything to keep Snow White safe, but their efforts against the Evil Queen are not guaranteed to succeed.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022)

With its win for Best TV movie at the Emmys, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers has become an instant classic. The premise of this Disney+ original is that Chip (John Mulaney) and Dale (Andy Samberg) used to star in a television show called Rescue Rangers. The two animated chipmunks have been estranged for thirty years after the series was canceled early due to miscommunication and jealousy. But in the present day, they get back together when one of their old friends disappears, and they have to work together to stop the evil toon smugglers. It’s not a direct sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but it has some unexpected animated cameos that evoke the same spirit.

Rise (2022)

Disney’s dedication to animation doesn’t mean the company can’t also produce high-quality live-action features. Among the year’s best Disney+ originals, Rise is a touching biopic about NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo (Uche Agada) and his brothers Athanasios “Thanasis” Antetokounmpo (Ral Agada), Alexandros “Alex” Antetokounmpo (Elijah Shomanke), and Kostantinos “Kostas” Antetokounmpo ( (Jaden Osimuwa). Charles (Dayo Okeniyi) and Vera Antetokounmpo (Yetide Badaki) are trying to raise their two sons despite having fled Nigeria and the poverty they knew there. But if Giannis and Thanasis can make it to the NBA, it could provide a way for them to support their family and get out of poverty. Giannis faces challenging decisions on his way to a professional career.

Encanto (2021)

Listen carefully, everyone, because we must discuss Bruno. Last year’s smash hit animated film Encanto has been given new life thanks to Disney+’s decision to release a sing-along version of the film. That being said, here’s your chance to hone your memorization skills for the film’s amazing songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda. On its own terms, the story is fantastic. Mirabel Madrigal, played by Stephanie Beatriz, is the only seemingly “normal” member of Colombia’s magically-enhanced Madrigal family. However, she is not the family outcast. Her uncle Bruno, who possesses the unfortunate ability to see into the future, gets the “honor” of being responsible for this. But when the family’s magical abilities are threatened, Mirabel must figure out a way to ensure everyone’s safety. You can also watch 123 movies sonic 2 on Disney.

Lilo & Stitch (2002)

Do you know what it means to have an ohana? Family is the Hawaiian word for a group of people who care for and support one another; in Lilo & Stitch’s world, this concept ensures that no one is ever forgotten or left behind. Stitch (Chris Sanders), a renegade alien experiment hiding out on Earth by posing as Lilo Pelekai’s dog, is profoundly affected by this idea (Daveigh Chase). Stitch learns the meaning of family and how he can be more than a biological weapon of mass destruction while living with Lilo and her older sister, Nani (Tia Carrere). However, the Galactic Federation disagrees and has sent agents to capture and kill Stitch.

Black Beauty (2020)

Black Beauty, based on the novel by Anna Sewell, is a wild mustang who, despite being captured by humans, refuses to be domesticated. Kate Winslet voices Black Beauty in the Disney+ adaptation. Jo Green (Mackenzie Foy), a young orphan living with her uncle John Manly, becomes Beauty’s friend and confidante (Iain Glen). John and Jo take good care of Beauty, but with their finances dwindling, he has to find a new home for Beauty. Jo is determined to track down and reclaim Beauty from its horrible owners.
