Chevening Scholarships
As part of the Chevening Scholarship Programme of the UK government, Chevening Scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars from around the world who come from a Chevening-eligible country. In most cases, the award is for a one-year Master’s degree. Tuition fees, a living allowance (for one individual), economy class return airfare to the UK, and additional grants to cover essential expenses are typically covered by Chevening Scholarships.
Scotland Saltire Scholarships
Scots’ Saltire Scholarships are being offered by the Scottish Government in collaboration with Scottish universities to citizens of Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan and the United States who wish to pursue full-time Master’s degrees at Scottish universities, specializing in science, technology, creative industries, healthcare, and medical sciences. Each award is worth £8000 and can be used to pay tuition fees for one year of full-time study.
Commonwealth Masters Scholarships
Students from developing Commonwealth countries who want to pursue Master’s study in the UK can apply for Commonwealth Scholarships. A grant from the UK Department for International Development (DFID) funds these scholarships.

University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships
The University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarship is available in most Sussex Schools. It is awarded to international students who have applied for and have been offered a place at the University of Sussex for eligible full-time Postgraduate Taught degrees on the basis of academic performance and potential. It offers a 50% discount on international students’ tuition fees for a one-year period.
Bristol University Think Big Scholarships
The University of Bristol will invest £500,000 in 2020 to attract the best and brightest international students. For undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the University, Think Big scholarships are available. There is a range of tuition fee awards between £6,500 and £26,000.
University of West London International Ambassador Scholarships
Students who are interested in pursuing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at University of West London are eligible to apply for the International Ambassador Scholarship. In this capacity, the scholars will serve as ambassadors for the University of West London around the world. A total of 50 scholarships worth up to £5,000 are available.
University of West England Chancellor’s Scholarships
International students at the University of the West of England, Bristol receive scholarships worth more than £100,000 each year.
The Chancellor’s Scholarship requires recipients to complete an internship in the International Development Office and other departments. One academic year’s tuition fees are covered by the scholarship.
Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships
The Transform Together scholarships are available to international and European Union (non-UK) students applying to Sheffield Hallam University to study a full-time postgraduate or undergraduate taught course. In the first year of study, undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses are eligible for a half fee waiver (50% discount).
Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships
Up to 42 Chancellor’s International Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding PhD applicants by the Warwick Graduate School. In any discipline offered at Warwick, international and EU students may apply for the scholarships. Scholarships cover the full cost of overseas tuition as well as a maintenance stipend.
Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham
International students from Africa, India, or a Commonwealth country who wish to study a Masters Degree at the University of Nottingham and make a positive contribution to their home country are eligible for the Developing Solutions Scholarship. A total of 105 scholarships are awarded each year, of which 30 cover the full tuition fee and 75 cover half.
