The best way to drive:

Mechanics

A motor supplies power to the axle, which starts the gearbox, which moves the chain forward. A converter is used to adjust the input frequency and speed of the motor if needed. For different industries, this is the most popular type of handling equipment due to its high performance, stability, and durability.

Hydraulics

An upending station with hydraulic cylinders drives this machine. With a flipping table and hydraulic system, it is constructed simply. The flipping table is designed with a strong frame to handle paper rolls, molds, etc.

With electric or hydraulic drive systems, upenders are effective and durable, and both are equipped with heavy brakes to ensure safe operation under heavy load conditions.

The upender’s structure:

Body of Turner

In order to achieve the loading capacity, the upend’s structure will be designed according to the load weight. The turner boby was reinforced on both sides with an allowance of 20% for max. Loading. Bases

Hands

Different upenders & tilters are designed for different applications based on the loads they handle. The tables include a flat one for molds, a V-sized table for coil objects, a fork table to connect the coil car, crane. Those can be connected with coil cars, cranes “C” hook, and fork lifters…Some factories do not allow naking the foundation pit, so they have a custom-made solution for manually loading and unloading goods on the floor with a hand lifter.

The upenders’ working table:

As well as designing the working table for different sizes and shapes, it can also be customized for different handling methods. The working table may need to be customized for coil handling by fork type, steel sheet handling by “C” type turntable, the forks groove for fork lifters, the roller conveyor table for contacting the upstream conveyor. To put it simply, the working table must be designed according to the load shape.

Loading Maximum:

In terms of machine structure and price, loading capacity is the most important aspect of the upender. We have upenders and tilters that can load up to 50, 80, or 100 tons. For more loading capacity, please contact us for the specification solution. In the picture, an upender with a height of 5000m, a width of 5000mm, and a length of 4500mm is shown. Both the mechanical and hydraulic driving systems are available.

There are different degrees of turning and special handling requirements:

An upender has four types of turning degree: 90, 95, 180 and 360 degrees. The main requirement is 90 and 180 degrees. The tipper & upender with 180 degree turning with conveyors for handling loads according to production processes. It works for precast slabs, solar panels, pallet changing, steel sheets… The 180 degree upender inverter is capable of performing pallet changing online as well. While turning, the device holding the load will hold the load. If the loading method is by forklift, the structure can be designed with a “C” shape so that forklifts can load on the side.

Aside from the body turning type turner, Fhope offers the base 360 degree turning version for limited operation space and crane movement.

Changing the loading direction is possible by turning the upender’s base 360 degrees. This means it is possible to turn the base simultaneously with the upending process. As well as simplifying the safe dumping of metal coils, it can also be used to rotate paper coils, plastic film, die presses, tray products, cylinders, and windmill turbines for vertical and horizontal switching.

There is a different load for each tip:

It is responsible for meeting the engineering turnover requirements for goods with different specifications with safe, stably, and effectively carrying out process transportation. In addition to metallurgy, stamping, sheet metal, moulds, paper making, refrigeration, steel strip, coil, barrel material, and so on, choosing a proper solution is crucial to achieving the operation goal of converting goods from horizontal to vertical or vice versa. The solution needs to be designed according to the load and application. A conveyor for loading and unloading the working table connects with the warehouse and production conveyors.

As opposed than manual handling, changing the load position 90-180 degrees takes only 20-60 seconds. Different optional functions are available to make the machine work for special load shapes and factory layout movements.
