What is Creakstream and How to Use it
Starting with iOS 9, Apple has made it possible to run your apps in the background, much like you can on Android. Called creakstreaming, it enables you to collect and process data at regular intervals without having the app open or in the foreground on the user’s device. Creakstreaming can be used in several ways and on multiple occasions, but one of the most common use cases is having the app running in the background while users are out and about, gathering data and performing calculations while they go about their day without even noticing that your app is doing anything at all!
What Is ‘Creakstream‘?
Creakstream is a new app that allows users to stream audio content from their iPhone or iPad directly to their Apple TV. The app works by using the AirPlay feature built into iOS, which allows users to wirelessly stream audio and video content from their device to another compatible device. Creakstream has a simple interface that features only two buttons – ‘Stream’ and ‘Share’. By tapping on the ‘Stream’ button, you will be able to start streaming audio from your iPhone or iPad’s library to your Apple TV. When tapping on the ‘Share’ button, you will be able to share your iPhone’s music library with other devices connected through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
The Two Types of Alerts
There are two types of alerts that you can set up with Creakstream. The first type is an event-based alert. This type of alert will notify you when a specific event happens, such as someone logging into your account or accessing a sensitive file. The second type of alert is a time-based alert. This type of alert will notify you at a specific time, such as every day at 9 am or once a week on Mondays. What to Consider When Setting Up Alerts: To create an alert, go to the Alerts tab in the app. In this tab, you can edit existing alerts or create new ones by tapping on the + button in the top right corner.
Setting up an Alert
You can set up an alert by opening the app and tapping on the Alert tab. Then, select the type of alert you want to set up. After that, you’ll need to choose when you want the alert to go off and what day(s) of the week you want it to repeat on. Finally, tap Save in the top right corner. Now, you’ll be able to see your newly created alert under Active Alerts.
As soon as the conditions are met for your new alert, you will receive a notification on your phone with an option to Open or Snooze.
If you open your notification from Creakstream, then this will trigger another alarm for every time this condition happens again in the future!
