1. To get started, open Outlook 2016/2013 and click on the “Inbox” tab.

3. From the drop-down menu, select “Customize Current View.”
4. In the Customize View window, scroll down and select the “Group By” option.
5. From the Group By drop-down menu, select “Conversation.”
6. You should now see your inbox grouped by conversation.
7. To further organize your inbox, you can create rules.
1. To create a rule, click on the “Inbox” tab and then click on the “View” tab.
2. Next, select “Rules” and then “Create Rule.”
3. In the Create Rule window, you will see a number of options that you can use to automate the organization of your inbox.
4. For example, you can create a rule that moves all email from a certain sender into a specific folder.
5. You can also create rules based on the subject line or other criteria.
6. Once you have created your rule, click on the “OK” button to save it.
7. Your rule will now be applied to incoming email.

You can still access all of your emails in the “Other” tab if you need to, but Focused Inbox makes it easier to focus on what’s important.
To enable Focused Inbox in Outlook 2016/2013, click the View tab and then select Show Focused Inbox.
Focused Inbox will then split your inbox into two tabs – “Focused” and “Other.” Emails in the “Focused” tab are deemed to be more important by Outlook’s algorithm, while those in the “Other” tab are generally less important. You can still access all of your emails in the “Other” tab if you need to, but Focused Inbox makes it easier to focus on what’s important.
If you find that Focused Inbox isn’t quite working the way you want it to, you can always disable it by going back to the View tab and unchecking the Show Focused Inbox option.
