If you’re like most people, your inbox is probably a cluttered mess. Fortunately, Outlook 2016/2013 makes it easy to get your inbox under control with its new Focused Inbox feature.

Focused Inbox is a new way of organizing your inbox that separates your important emails from the rest. It uses a machine learning algorithm to determine which emails are more important to you and puts them in the “Focused” tab while the rest remain in the “Other” tab.

You can still access all of your emails in the “Other” tab if you need to, but Focused Inbox makes it easier to focus on what’s important.

To enable Focused Inbox in Outlook 2016/2013, click the View tab and then select Show Focused Inbox.

Focused Inbox will then split your inbox into two tabs – “Focused” and “Other.” Emails in the “Focused” tab are deemed to be more important by Outlook’s algorithm, while those in the “Other” tab are generally less important. You can still access all of your emails in the “Other” tab if you need to, but Focused Inbox makes it easier to focus on what’s important.

If you find that Focused Inbox isn’t quite working the way you want it to, you can always disable it by going back to the View tab and unchecking the Show Focused Inbox option.

Conclusion:

Organizing your inbox doesn’t have to be a daunting task. With Outlook 2016/2013, you can easily separate your important emails from the ones that aren’t as critical with the new “Focused Inbox” feature. You can also declutter your inbox by moving certain types of email into separate folders or by creating rules. Give it a try and see how much easier it is to stay on top of your email!

By using the Group By option and creating rules, you can quickly and easily organize your inbox in Outlook 2016/2013. This can save you time and help you to keep track of important email more effectively.
