The Haggin Museum was opened in 1928 but did not open to the public until 1931, and it is in Stockton’s Victory Park. The Children’s Museum of Stockton opened in 1984 in Stockton, though it had been around for a long time before that. After a bad incident, Janet Geng, the founding Director, came up with the idea for this non-profit organisation. Her vision was to create a safe space for children and families to learn and play together; the museum is a 22,000-square-foot facility.
